Forgetfulness

Is it a promise, a warning, a threat?

"I forget..." can be a kind promise, an offer as a guarantee.

who doesn't like certainty of what the future holds ahead?

"I forget..." can be a gentle warning, to be ready, prepared.

Who doesn't like to know that you do all you know and can?

"I forget..." can be the ultimate threat, that no matter what,

you are no exception, one day, you will no longer be.

Either way, I say, don't fear forgetfulness, one way or another

choose to see it as a blessing and how you live it will change.
