Death as a celebration of life
Death as a celebration of life
We spend our lives looking for certainty
for death is the only one we’ve got.
It reminds us of how impermanent our existence is
It forces us to know vulnerability
it makes us notice the nothingness of it all …
Facing death, in whatever form it touches us,
brings us to our knees
makes us humble
breaks us wide open.
But death can also be
a catalyst of what is true
take us to what’s important
and be the path to our deepest self.
And it is here where life becomes meaningful
where love is formless
and you can be real.
In this sense death can be a celebration of life.
